What We Do
Loxada provides secure, managed routers that protect remote and hybrid workers at the network edge. Our firmware replaces the manufacturer’s software entirely, locking down each device and creating a trusted access point for sensitive data.
Everything is managed centrally. Security updates happen automatically. There’s no local configuration, no user training, and no dependency on end-user behaviour. Just secure connectivity that works from the moment the device is plugged in.
Why We Exist
We started Loxada after seeing how difficult it was for even well-managed organizations to extend security into environments they didn’t control. Off-the-shelf routers, inconsistent patching, and insecure defaults left serious gaps, especially in sectors that handle sensitive information.
The patching problem runs deeper than missed updates. People and devices are inconsistent in how they apply patches (if they do it at all). But even when updates are installed promptly, many manufacturer patches still contain known vulnerabilities. That means diligent patching doesn’t always deliver true protection. Add to that the wide variety of devices in use across homes, shared spaces, and third-party setups, and keeping track of it all becomes a challenge in itself.
Our goal is to close that gap and make best-practice security at the network edge available to everyone.
